NDMS CONFERENCE 2005-ORLANDO, FL
What you really wanted to know
It wasn't all fun and games, there was of course, mandatory administrative officers training, logistics officers training, training officers training and team leaders meetings.
The NDMS awards ceremony on Sunday evening and the vendors exhibits. For those of you who have not had the opportunity to attend the NDMS conference, here's what you missed...
The (all suites) Caribe Royale Hotel

The fabulous pool with waterfall, water slide, two heated whirlpools, and the poolside bar.

SIERRA the red macaw spent days poolside, outside of her cage. A pair of ducks also spent the evenings poolside, smimming about and looking for bread handouts.

One of the team outings included Jimmy Buffet's MARGARITAVILLE restaurant. Complete with VOLCANO and two balloon sculpturist on stilts.

DISNEY QUEST was very interesting and just the ticket for those looking for interactive Pirates of the Caribbean adventures, virtual pinball, custom designed rollacoasters (which we actually got to ride) and saving the universe against aliens.

EPCOT was fantastic. Upgraded Spaceship Earth, Mission Space is one very realistic launch into space and a cruise around the red planet. Test Track offers the feel and speed of automotive racing. The Spring Flower Festival was, spectacular in usual Disney fashion.

FULTON's CRAB HOUSE  is first class by any measure. Well worth the visit. If fine dining is your thing, Fulton's Crab House is your place.

UNIVERSAL's CITY WALK  offers a multitude of great dining adventures, ranging from, The Latin Quarter, Margaritaville, Emeril's, Nascar Cafe, NBA Cafe and others. Gift Shops, arcades and kiosks to purchase your own flashing LED mouthpiece.

A genuine wild time was had at Disney's ANIMAL KINGDOM.
Another view of the waterfall feature. Possible site for Tactical Water Rescue Operations ...hmmm.
